Why organic is so expensive?
I want to use the bathroom of organic products for my daughter and it is at least 3-5 times the price of non-organic products! For example, its Johnson's Baby Shampoo is about $ 3.00 for a bottle of 15 oz The cheapest organic shampoo I could find is $ 11.99 for 8 oz wanted to get to their most natural toys for the holidays, organic cotton and stuffed animals were much more expensive and natural were the building blocks of unpainted wood. I have to correct something Hipp5 said: Organic farms tend to produce more profits per acre than farms mechanized non-organic (Google). The reason an organic farmer has less money than an organic farmer, is not that the latter has large area, so he wins more just on the volume. Also, transportation is often conveniently ignored the definition of organic, so you may end products "organic" California that are sent to Canada. In my opinion, that does not stop with the spirit of organics, but most certifying agencies allow. While story organic are not all alike, and this will be evident in the price!
